Avalue Technology Launches OFM Open-Frame Displays

Avalue Technology Inc. has introduced its new OFM Series open-frame PCAP multi-touch displays, designed for flexible integration across industrial and embedded applications. The series spans five sizes—7, 15, 19, 27 and 37 inches—supporting use cases such as industrial HMIs, self-service kiosks, transportation systems and retail displays.

Broad size range and rich I/O
The OFM Series includes the OFM-0700, OFM-1500, OFM-1900, OFM-2700 and the transportation-focused OFM-3700. All models feature projected capacitive (PCAP) multi-touch technology for responsive interaction and offer common connectivity options such as HDMI, USB, VGA and COM ports (model dependent), simplifying system integration.

High-brightness panels are available on selected models, with the OFM-2700 delivering 800 nits and the OFM-3700 reaching 1000 nits, ensuring clear visibility in high ambient light environments.

Industrial-grade durability
Designed for reliable 24/7 operation, the OFM Series supports a 0°C to 60°C operating range and features rugged structural construction. Cooling configurations vary by model, with the OFM-2700 incorporating active cooling and the OFM-3700 adopting a fanless design to minimize maintenance.

The OFM-3700 meets IP65 protection standards and IK10 impact resistance requirements. It also complies with EN50155 and EN45545 railway certifications, making it well suited for passenger information systems in trains and metro environments.

Open-frame flexibility
The open-frame architecture enables seamless embedded installation into cabinets, kiosks, walls and control panels, reducing integration complexity and accelerating deployment timelines.

In applications such as vending machines and ordering kiosks, the high-brightness OFM-2700 enhances user experience, while models like the OFM-1500 and OFM-1900 serve as reliable HMI hubs in factory automation environments through multiple I/O connectivity options.
