Swissbit will spotlight the expansion of its PCIe storage portfolio at embedded world 2026, taking place March 10–12 in Nuremberg, Germany (Hall 1, Booth 1-510). Marking its 25th anniversary year, the company will introduce two new core PCIe SSD series and announce a cooperation with the Open Compute Project (OCP), reinforcing its roadmap toward future OCP Inspired™ storage products.
Two New PCIe SSD Core Series
Swissbit will present an outlook on two upcoming PCIe SSD platforms designed for embedded, edge, and enterprise applications:
N7000 Series – Reliable Boot Drive Platform
- 4-channel PCIe SSD architecture
- Integrated Power Loss Notification (PLN)
- Optimized for system boot and lightweight workloads
- Form factors: M.2 2280 and M.2 2242
- Capacities: 80GB to 4TB
The N7000 Series targets next-generation boot drive applications, balancing reliability, cost efficiency, and performance.
A2000 Series – High-Performance Edge & Enterprise Platform
- 8-channel PCIe Gen4/NVMe architecture
- Designed for low latency and high throughput
- Target applications: enterprise storage, industrial systems, NetCom, Edge AI
- Form factors: M.2, E1.S, and U.2
- Capacities: 480GB to 8TB
The A2000 Series addresses performance-intensive workloads in industrial and server environments.
Strategic Differentiation Through In-House NAND Packaging
Both SSD families are manufactured using 100% in-house NAND packaging at Swissbit’s Berlin facility. By controlling back-end assembly and testing internally rather than relying on external OSAT providers, Swissbit enhances:
- Supply chain resilience
- Bill of materials control
- Lead-time flexibility
- Long-term lifecycle support through wafer banking
This vertically integrated manufacturing model is a key differentiator within the European storage market.
Broader Industrial Storage Portfolio
In addition to PCIe solutions, Swissbit will showcase its industrial-grade storage lineup, including:
- e.MMC solutions
- PCIe BGA products for solder-down designs
- Next-generation SATA platforms
Both the N7000 and A2000 Series are scheduled for market launch in the first half of 2026, with phased rollouts across multiple variants.
With PCIe technologies gaining importance in embedded, edge, and enterprise systems, Swissbit’s roadmap reflects the growing demand for high-performance, long-lifecycle storage solutions tailored to industrial environments.
