Anritsu Corporation will present its latest 6G-focused test and measurement innovations at Mobile World Congress 2026 (MWC 2026), taking place in Barcelona. Visitors can experience Anritsu’s solutions in Hall 5, Stand D41.
As wireless technologies evolve beyond 5G, Anritsu is showcasing a comprehensive portfolio of software-centric, AI-enabled, and virtualized test solutions designed to support early 6G standardization and validation. The exhibits highlight Anritsu’s vision for trustworthy, sustainable, and high-performance connectivity across mobile, automotive, IoT, and private network infrastructures.
Accelerating early 6G standardization and validation
At the core of Anritsu’s showcase is a 6G Test Platform built for early-stage research and standardization. The Virtual Signalling Tester, a software-based solution, supports physical layer (L1) testing as well as MAC-layer, DIQ, and RF interface validation using SDR. An arbitrary waveform output function—under consideration for future 6G systems—enables flexible experimentation during the pre-standard phase.
AI-driven 6G measurement and testing
Anritsu is also demonstrating a pioneering AI-powered 6G measurement solution that embeds artificial intelligence directly into the testing workflow. Advanced data management and AI analytics simplify complex test scenarios, reduce engineering effort, and accelerate development cycles. AI-assisted test sequence generation learns from historical data and real-world performance to improve accuracy, optimize resources, and speed up validation.
Unified multiband and NTN validation platform
The MT8000A Radio Communication Test Station now supports Upper Mid-Band frequencies up to 16 GHz, enabling RF front-end testing across FR1, FR2, and FR3 bands within a single modular platform. This unified architecture supports multi-band characterization, inter-band handover testing, and advanced signal integrity analysis.
Through software upgrades, the MT8000A also introduces next-generation Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) capabilities, including Direct-to-Cell and NR-NTN testing. Real-time emulation of satellite and aerial link conditions allows engineers to validate protocols and optimize RF performance as networks evolve toward 6G.
Field Simulation Test and digital twin development
Anritsu’s Field Simulation Test (FST) solution captures real-world radio propagation environments and reproduces them accurately in the lab. This capability allows engineers to replicate live-network issues, validate propagation scenarios, and support digital twin development for next-generation technologies such as integrated sensing and communications (ISAC) and CSI compression.
Virtualized automotive testing for SDV and ADAS
In collaboration with Valeo, Anritsu is presenting a cloud-based virtualized automotive testing solution for connected and autonomous vehicles. By combining Anritsu’s virtual 5G and C-V2X connectivity with Valeo’s ECU and hardware simulation platforms, the solution enables comprehensive validation of software-defined vehicle (SDV) functions without physical vehicles or test tracks, reducing cost and accelerating time to market.
Sustainable IoT power consumption evaluation
Addressing the need for energy-efficient IoT devices, Anritsu introduces a real-world power consumption test environment for sensors, wearables, and smart home devices. Built on the MT8000A platform and integrated with Qoitech’s Otii power measurement suite and SmartViser’s automation expertise, the solution provides detailed insights into energy usage, battery life, and optimization potential.
AI-powered service assurance for autonomous networks
Anritsu’s Service Assurance platform demonstrates how applied AI can transform network complexity into actionable intelligence. By correlating data across mobile, fixed, and private networks, the platform delivers a unified operational view that supports faster decision-making, lower costs, and improved customer experience—laying the foundation for autonomous network operation.
