Avalue Technology has announces the launch of the new BMX series barebone industrial computer, BMX-P820. Built on exceptional computing performance and industrial-grade reliability, the BMX series is designed for diverse applications including smart manufacturing, factory automation, smart retail, edge computing, and security surveillance. The BMX-P820 is centered on a barebone system design, allowing customers to freely configure processors, memory, and storage based on their specific requirements, while supporting a wide range of expansion interfaces to create a customized system tailored to their application needs.
The BMX-P820 offers three key highlights. First, it is designed for compatibility with the Intel® 14th Gen CPU platform and supports the latest NVIDIA graphics cards, making it ideal for AI acceleration and image analysis. Second, it features a low-noise thermal design that keeps system operation below 40dB, ensuring a quieter and more comfortable working environment even under heavy workloads. Finally, the BMX-P820 provides highly flexible expansion options. Whether enterprises require high-performance computing, low-noise operation, or rapid integration of multiple interface modules, the system can be configured to meet a wide range of industrial requirements.
From a technical perspective, the BMX-P820 is built on the Intel® H610E Express chipset combined with high-speed DDR5 memory, offering greater bandwidth and lower latency to ensure high performance even when processing massive amounts of real-time data. It also supports triple-display output, driving up to three screens simultaneously to meet monitoring and data visualization needs. With its PCIe x16 and M.2 expansion slots, the BMX-P820 can easily integrate GPU accelerator cards, wireless modules, or other dedicated expansion devices, further enhancing edge computing and AI inference capabilities. In addition, dual Intel® Gigabit Ethernet ports provide fast and stable network connections with redundancy and reliability for industrial environments.
For industrial-grade applications, the BMX-P820 excels across multiple domains. In smart manufacturing, it supports vision inspection and automation control. In smart retail, it enables real-time data analytics and drives multi-screen digital signage. When combined with GPU acceleration, it delivers robust edge AI inference and IoT gateway functions. For security surveillance, the system processes large-scale video streams efficiently, ensuring reliable and high-performance monitoring operations.
