onsemi, a leader in intelligent power and sensing technologies, today announced that it has completed its acquisition of GT Advanced Technologies (“GTAT”), a producer of silicon carbide (SiC). The acquisition enhances onsemi’s ability to secure and grow supply of SiC.
With the RST® Micro, Wieland Electric presents a miniature connector that, with its diameter of less than 15 mm, meets the highest requirements for design and flexibility. The plug is in demand wherever technology is becoming smaller and smaller, and electrical connections must therefore also become smaller and smaller. Now the system also includes a distributor option
Alps Alpine and Furuno Jointly Develop UMSZ6 Series GNSS Module Realizing High-Accuracy Vehicle Positioning to Within 50cm Without Correction Data, a World First for Automotive Use.
The remote maintenance gateways portfolio of the Cloud Client product family from Phoenix Contact has been extended by four variants. They offer additional interfaces and fallback functionality alongside new software functions.
Provertha has developed a compact, fully shielded distribution system for M8/M12 cabling, with which multiple cables can be combined using circular connectors so that signal and power transmission can now be realised over long distances via a single cable. This simplifies the connection of the equipment to the cable networks and helps to save costs.
Kontron, a leading global provider of IoT/Embedded Computing Technology (ECT), introduces a new all-in-one panel PC that meets the stringent hygiene and connectivity requirements in the medical and healthcare sector. The system is compliant with DIN EN 60601-1 and is particularly suitable for use in nurses’ stations, operating rooms, intensive care units, laboratories as well as pharmacies and clean rooms.
TDK Corporation (TSE:6762) announces the release of its newly developed ADL3225VM inductors for use in automotive Power over Coax (PoC) systems. Measuring at 3.2 x 2.5 x 2.5 ㎜ (L x W x H), these inductors provide a compact solution for designers looking to reduce vehicle weight as manufacturers add more sensors and cameras to accommodate expanding automotive and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) applications. The proprietary structural design and wire winding manufacturing process ensure high impedance over a broad bandpass of 1 ㎒ up to 1 ㎓. The inductors are compliant with AEC-Q200 and achieve the highest-rated current in the industry for the 3225 size*. Volume production began in October 2021.
